Meet the Winemaker dinner on 16th September
A Selection of Wines by Ben Glaetzer
It is with considerable excitement that we can announce that we have managed to persuade renowned Australian winemaker, Ben Glaetzer, to present a selection of his wines at our next wine dinner.
Many of you will be familiar with the Heartland range of wines which we sell in the shop. Ben makes these wines from grapes sourced from Langhorne Creek and McLaren Vale and they offer outstanding value.
On this occasion, however, we will be focusing mainly on his Glaetzer Family wines from the Barossa Valley. These wines have accrued an almost embarrassing range of accolades from just about every wine journalist in the world. If polar opposites Robert Parker and Jancis Robinson rave about your wines, you must be doing something right!
Wine Australia, the trade body responsible for promoting top quality Australian wines have used Ben as the "face" of their campaign in a series of videos, no doubt because Ben is both charming and articulate.
